Welcome to your gentle reminder that joy isn’t something you have to wait for. It’s already here, tucked inside the little things. July is prime time for soft girl living, golden hour daydreams, and those simple moments that feel like a warm hug for your soul.
So, I’ve put together a little July Joy List to help you soak up every sweet second. Save it, screenshot it, stick it to your mirror – whatever you need to keep it close and make this month magic.

1. Start your day outside
Morning sunlight, iced coffee in hand, a journal open on your lap. Even just five minutes on the doorstep with no scrolling allowed = instant mood lift.
2. Romanticise your snacks
Make a fruit bowl that looks straight out of a cottagecore picnic. Strawberries, peaches, fresh mint – and maybe a little chocolate on the side because why the hell not.
3. Upgrade your SPF ritual
Your skincare isn’t a chore – it’s self-love in motion. Apply your SPF like you're the main character in a feel-good summer film.
4. Curate your July playlist
Songs that make you feel glowy, flirty, empowered, and a little bit nostalgic.

5. Sip pretty
Swap your basic hydration for a fancy mocktail or flavoured iced tea. Sip it from a wine glass with a straw!
6. Romanticise the everyday
Film a 5-second clip each day. A walk, your breakfast, the sky – stitch them into a reel at the end of the month and see your life through a softer lens.

7. Buy yourself flowers
One of my favourite things to do! They don’t have to be expensive. Even a £1 bunch from the supermarket brightens your space (and your energy).
8. Plan a no-pressure solo date
A park stroll with your favourite book, a charity shop wander, or a museum afternoon. You don’t have to wait for anyone to make memories.
9. Write a love letter to yourself
What do you adore about YOU right now? Don’t hold back. Read it when the self-doubt creeps in. This is a game changer - Ok you might feel odd doing it at first, but that's just inposter syndrome, big yourself up girlie because you are incredible!
10. Make an end-of-day sparkle list
Each night, jot down one small thing that made you smile. A compliment, a sunset, a funny text. Let it remind you that joy is always around.
There you go, sunshine. Ten little ways to add magic to your month. Life doesn’t have to be huge or loud to be beautiful – sometimes it’s just a soft breeze and a song that makes you dance in your room.
